The overall objective of the project is to increase the capacity for sustainable development in Bangladesh. The overall objective leads to two specific project level objectives:
a) Strengthened capacity of the Department of Environment to implement their Strategic plan; and
b) Strengthened capacity of civil society (including the private sector) for environmental management.
